Being a versatile material, Incoloy 825, has all properties one expects from a nickel alloy. With a very stable austenite structure and a high content of nickel, as is the case with most Incoloy alloys, grade 825 is an alloy that possesses sufficient resistance to chloride ion stress related corrosion cracking. The addition of high content of chromium in its alloy aids in resistance to oxidative conditions. Which is why the Inconel 825 Buttweld Elbow have great resistance to highly corrosive, yet oxidative solutions such as nitrates, nitric acid solutions, as well as oxidizing salts. Alloy 825 Buttweld Elbow is stabilized by the addition of titanium. By the addition of a stabilizing agent like titanium, the Incoloy 825 Buttweld Elbow remain free from intergranular corrosion that could occur in the HAZ or heat affected weld zone. Nickel alloy UNS N08825 Buttweld Elbow is resistant to acids such as sulphuric acid and phosphoric acid. Therefore, keeping its high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance properties in mind, most suppliers recommend the use of Alloy 825 Buttweld Elbow for the production of sulfuric acid.
Incoloy 825 Buttweld Elbows are made up of a nickel alloy that is highly corrosion resistant, strong and heat resistant. They belong to the specification ASTM B366. There are different dimensions to the incoloy 825 fittings based on different standards such as ANSI B16.9, B16.28 and so on. The sizes range from ½ inches to 24 inches and there are different schedules ranging from 10 to XXS. Jinie Technology (Jiangsu) Co., LTD is a manufacturer and supplier of these fittings in different types, sizes and shapes. The Incoloy 825 elbow is strong and it is used to change the direction of flow in a pipe line. Usually the angle of turn is either 90 degrees or 45 degrees. But there are special types of elbows as well. They are strong with up to 1000MPa minimum tensile strength and up to 889MPa minimum yield strength.
