Nickle alloy Hastelloy C4 features
Hastelloy C4 is a versatile Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with extremely high resistance to corrosion.Hastelloy C4 also has excellentresistance to general and localized corrosion and stress corrosion.
Hastelloy C-4(UNS N06455) is very resistant to many aggressive chemicals, especially hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acidand chlorides. Hastelloy C4 is one of the best corrosion resistant alloys in nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. Likeother nickel alloys, Hastelloy C4 is ductile, easy to weld, and the stress in chloride bearing solutions hasexceptional corrosion resistance.With its high chromium and molybdenum content, it can withstand both oxidizingand non-oxidizing acids and is resistant to pitting and crack.
