Stainless steel 347 flange(UNS S34700, 1.4550) is a high-performance pipe connector with SUS347 (347 stainless steel) as the core material. By adding niobium (Nb) as a stabilizing element, its reliability in high temperature and corrosive environments is significantly improved. Its chemical composition is based on chromium (17%~19%) and nickel (9%~13%), with a carbon content of ≤0.08% and a niobium content of about 10 times the carbon content. SS 1.4450 stainless steel effectively inhibits the precipitation of chromium carbide during welding or high temperature (450~850℃), thereby avoiding intergranular corrosion problems.
UNS S34700 is especially suitable for conditions exposed to chloride or sulfide media for a long time. After solution treatment, the material exhibits excellent comprehensive properties: tensile strength ≥520 MPa, elongation ≥40%, and ss347 can still maintain stable oxidation resistance and creep resistance in high temperature environments above 540℃. Its high temperature strength is significantly better than that of ordinary 304 stainless steel.
Stainless steel 347 Flange comes in various types, including weld neck (WN), long weld neck (LWN), slip-on (SO), socket weld (SW), blind, plate, threaded, lap joint, orifice, and spectacle blind flanges. Additionally, there are special products available, such as rings, forgings, discs, and flange sleeves, catering to diverse industrial applications and requirements. They become a key connection scenarios in the fields of energy, chemical industry and aerospace, such as high-temperature steam pipelines in oil cracking units, corrosive media delivery systems in chemical reactors, and high-pressure hydraulic circuits in aircraft engines.
