Stainless steel 321H flange is a key connection component designed for high temperature and corrosive environments. Its core material 321H stainless steel has increased the carbon content (0.04~0.10%) on the basis of traditional 321 stainless steel. By adding titanium (≥5×C%) to stabilize carbides, the high temperature strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion are significantly enhanced. The physical properties of this material are outstanding, with a density of 8.0 g/cm³, a tensile strength of ≥515 MPa, and excellent creep resistance in the high temperature range of 500~800℃. The thermal expansion coefficient (17.3 μm/m·℃) is close to that of carbon steel, which can effectively reduce thermal stress. SS 1.4847's corrosion resistance is excellent in oxidizing media (such as nitric acid), but it should be used with caution in chloride ion environments.
Stainless Steel 321h Flange comes in various types, including weld neck (WN), long weld neck (LWN), slip-on (SO), socket weld (SW), blind, plate, threaded, lap joint, orifice, and spectacle blind flanges. Additionally, there are special products available, such as rings, forgings, discs, and flange sleeves, catering to diverse industrial applications and requirements.
In terms of manufacturing process, high-quality 321H flanges usually adopt vacuum melting combined with forging or casting technology, and CNC machining is used to ensure the sealing surface accuracy (roughness Ra ≤ 3.2μm).
