Stainless Steel 316L Flange
JN ALLOY supplies 316L SO flanges, 316L WN flanges, UNS S31603 blind flanges, 1.4404 / 1.4435 316L plain flanges, ASTM A182 UNS S31603 SW flanges, 316L spectacle blind flanges, 316L threaded flanges, 1.4404 / 1.4435 spacer ring,UNS S31603 paddle blind/blank, 316L bleed/test/drip ring, 316L reducing flange.
Stainless steel 316L flange is a pipe connector made of low-carbon 316L austenitic stainless steel. Its core components are 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel and 2-3% molybdenum, and a trace amount of carbon (≤0.03%) is added, which has excellent corrosion resistance and processing performance. Compared with ordinary 316 stainless steel, ss 316L's low carbon characteristics significantly reduce the risk of intergranular corrosion in welding or high temperature environments. At the same time, the molybdenum element enhances resistance to chlorides and acidic media, especially suitable for harsh working conditions such as seawater and chemical fluids. The flange is manufactured in strict accordance with ASME, EN or GB standards, covering a variety of structural types such as welding necks, slop on, threads, etc. The surface of S31603 flange is pickled and passivated to strengthen the oxide film to ensure long-term sealing stability and structural strength. Jinie Technology (Jiangsu) Co., LTD supply all different types and scales of flanges. Please feel free to contact us for further product information and pricing.
Application of UNS S31603 Stainless Steel Flange
Stainless Steel 316L flange are widely used in petrochemical, oil, gas, paper, marine engineering, pharmaceutical and food processing fields. Typical scenarios include high-temperature and high-pressure pipeline systems, seawater desalination equipment and strong acid medium transmission pipelines. SS 1.4404's advantages lie in its creep resistance at extreme temperatures (-269°C to 800°C), its excellent performance against pitting and stress corrosion cracking, and its good cold forming and welding compatibility.
Types of 316L Stainless Steel Flange
Stainless Steel 316L Flange comes in various types, including weld neck (WN), long weld neck (LWN), slip-on (SO), socket weld (SW), blind, plate, threaded, lap joint, orifice, and spectacle blind flanges. Additionally, there are special products available, such as rings, forgings, discs, and flange sleeves, catering to diverse industrial applications and requirements.
