Stainless Steel 310S Flange are key components for detachable connections between pipes, valves or equipment. They are bolted and matched with sealing gaskets to achieve system sealing and pressure bearing. When the working conditions involve extremely high temperatures (such as over 800°C), strong oxidizing or corrosive media (such as sulfur and chloride ions), conventional stainless steel is prone to failure due to high temperature oxidation, carburization or intergranular corrosion. In this case, SS 310S stainless steel flanges are required.

Stainless Steel 310S flange refers to a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel flange, and its advantage lies in its excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and carburization resistance. S31008's chemical composition contains 24%-26% chromium, 19%-22% nickel, and 1.5% silicon, forming a dense chromium oxide-silicon oxide composite protective layer that can withstand continuous high temperatures and cyclic thermal shocks up to 1150°C, far exceeding the 304 series (temperature resistance of about 870°C). In high-temperature environments, 310S stainless steel can still maintain excellent creep strength and intergranular corrosion resistance, especially in extreme sulfur- and carbon-containing conditions (such as heat treatment furnaces, cracking furnaces, and combustion chambers), which can effectively resist sulfidation corrosion and embrittlement caused by carbon penetration, which is a performance breakthrough that ordinary stainless steel cannot achieve.
