he Hastelloy C276 Pipe Fittings come under the ASME B16.9 and ASME B16.28 standards. There are different thicknesses to the fittings that correlate to the schedules of the fittings. The schedules range from 5s through 160 and XXS. These could be seamless, welded or fabricated as well. The ANSI B16.9 Hastelloy C276 Tee is used to connect three pipes at one junction. The material's high temperature capability comes from the 1370 degrees Celsius melting point. The material is also strong with 355MPa minimum yield strength and 790MPa minimum tensile strength. Due to high mechanical properties, the C276 Hastelloy End Cap and other fittings are used in high temperature applications and in high stress applications with severe corrosive conditions. The corrosion resistance is from the 15% molybdenum and 14.5% chromium in addition to the nickel base.

ASTM B336 Hastelloy UNS N10276 Seamless Fittings are less susceptible to stress and crevice corrosion and can be used in the welded condition. ASME SB 336 Hastelloy C276 Reducer are fittings that give good resistance to reducing and oxidising aqueous media. Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Pipe Fittings offered in customisable sizes as per the customer requirements. ASTM B366 Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Pipe Fitting is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone. ASTM B 336 Hastelloy C276 Tee are in a T shape which exhibits good weldability ,machinability and formability .

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Pipe is used in high temperature and high corrosion prone applications. The material is corrosion resistant and heat resistant because of its unique composition. It is a nickel molybdenum chromium super alloy that is stabilized with tungsten. The Hastelloy C276 Fittings come under the ASTM B366 specification. Jinie Technology (Jiangsu) Co., LTD is a leading supplier and manufacturer of these fittings in different types, sizes and threads. There are seamless fittings and buttweld fittings. Also we huge stock of ASTM B366 Hastelloy C276 Pipe Fittings such as Hastelloy C22 elbow, Hastelloy C22 Tee, Hastelloy Alloy C4 End Pipe Cap, Hastelloy C276 stub ends , Hastelloy C2000 reducer, Hastelloy X cross etc. Please contact us for more information on the fittings such as UNS N10276 Lateral Tee and others.

Properties of Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings alloy

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings Cold Forming

Annealed treatment is followed for every forming operations. For cold deformation at high-level, cold forming is done for the deformation process where cracking is a possibility because of mild forming. The cold forming process is used to restore the resistance to stress corrosion cracking. For most of the time, a solution anneal is recommended after the complete formed or annealed operation which helps to restore the material to its optimum condition and properties.

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings Hot Forming

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings can be hot-worked into various forms but they are more sensitive to the amounts and rates of hot-reduction with the austenitic stainless steels. During Hot working, all parameters should be taken into account. Special attention should be given to the temperature at which the alloy begins to melt. The high strengths of the Hastelloys at elevated temperature, their low thermal conductivity, and their hardening rate. Moreover, when the temperature is low in the hot working range of the metal, they are resistance to deformation is increased rapidly. So, while hot working practices that give heavy initial reduction followed by moderate final reductions, also with frequent re-heating gives the good result.

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings Machining

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings can be machined using conventional production methods at satisfactory rates. During the machining processes these alloys work harden rapidly, generate high heat during cutting, weld to the cutting tool surface and offer high resistance to metal removal because of their high shear strengths. Following are key points that should be considered during machining operations: Capacity, Tooling, Lubrication/Coolants, Drilling. The actual operating parameters are to serve only as a guide and are not to be taken as absolute values.

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings Welding

Gas tungsten-arc welding, gas metal-arc welding, shielded metal-arc (coated electrode) welding, or resistance welding may be used. Minimum heat input consistent with adequate penetration reduces the chance of hot-cracking. Oxyacetylene welding should be avoided due to possibility of carburization. Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings can be used in the as-welded condition in most chemical and petrochemical process equipment

Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings Heat Treatment

Wrought forms of Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings are furnished in the solution heat-treated condition unless otherwise specified. Alloy C276 Buttweld Fittings is normally solution heat-treated at 2050 °F and rapid quenched. Parts which have been hot-formed should be solution heat-treated prior to final fabrication or installation, if possible.

What is Hastelloy C276 Pipe Fittings?

Chemical Processing Industry

Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are widely used in chemical processing because they can withstand extreme temperatures, corrosive chemicals, and high pressure. The fittings are commonly used in chemical reactors, distillation columns, and heat exchangers. The alloy's high corrosion resistance makes it ideal for use in corrosive environments such as acidic and alkaline solutions and in reducing and oxidizing media.

Pulp and Paper Industry

Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are used in the pulp and paper digester and bleach plant areas. The fitments play a significant role in this industry because they handle corrosive chemicals such as chlorine dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, and sodium hypochlorite. The fittings also withstand high temperatures and pressures, making them the ideal choice for this industry.

Nuclear Power Plants

Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are also used in nuclear power plants. Due to their excellent corrosion resistance, the fittings are widely used in the cooling water systems, steam generators, and primary water piping of nuclear reactors. Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are preferred in nuclear power plants because they provide high reliability and durability.

Pollution Control

Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are used in pollution control systems such as desulfurization and denitrification. They are also used in wastewater treatment plants to handle corrosive wastewater. The fittings are preferred because of their excellent corrosion resistance, which helps reduce pollution and protect the environment.

Oil and Gas Industry

Hastelloy C276 pipe fittings are used in the oil and gas industry because they can withstand harsh conditions such as high temperatures, high pressures, and corrosive media. They are widely used in the production and processing of oil and gas, including offshore operations. Hastelloy C276 fittings are used to extract and refine hydrocarbons and transport crude oil and natural gas.
