Hastelloy C2000 Flanges have superior mechanical properties, making them ideal for many applications. It has a high-temperature strength and can be used in extreme temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C). Furthermore, it maintains its strength throughout this range of temperatures while providing a low expansion coefficient. This means it will not warp or buckle when undergoing thermal cycling due to temperature changes. Its combination of good ductility with exceptional tensile strength also makes it ideal for use in many different industries, including oil & gas production, chemical processing, power generation, pollution control equipment, and food processing equipment. In comparison to the other Hastelloy alloys, Hastelloy C2000 Flanges were designed to provide more adaptability. In addition to adding a little amount of copper (1.6%), this was accomplished by enhancing the proportion of chromium and molybdenum. C2000 flanges have better temperature capabilities in hydrofluoric, sulfuric, and diluted hydrochloric acids due to the addition of copper.
