Alloy B2 is also known as UNS N10665 grade. It is a complete solution for engineering and industrial applications. It is combined with nickel and molybdenum content that is typically used for extreme reducing conditions.

 

Hastelloy grade has down iron, carbon, silicon content as compare to traditional grades. The alloy is less susceptible to down corrosion resistance in the weld affected zone.

 

The fabricability of alloy is increased with the addition of iron and chromium content. The alloying chemistry results in the high usage of grade in a wide range of applications.

 

Alloy B2 Flanges are made from a strong nickel-based alloy. This alloy resists corrosion well in tough environments. It also has great strength and mechanical properties at high and low temperatures. Hastelloy B2 Flanges are commonly used in high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

The Alloy B2 flange provides resistance to pure vitriol and variety of non-oxidizing acids. The alloy shouldn't be utilized in oxidizing media or where oxidizing contaminants are available in reducing media.

 

Premature failure can happen if alloy B2 is used with iron or copper in an acidic system.
