347H Stainless Steel Pipe is the higher carbon (0.04 – 0.10) version of the alloy. It was developed for enhanced creep resistance and for higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F (537°C). In most instances, the carbon content of the pipe enables dual certification. 347H Stainless Steel Pipe is stabilized stainless steel plate which offers as its main advantage an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500°F (427 to 816°C). Alloy 347 stainless steel plate is stabilized by the addition of columbium and tantalum. ASTM A312 Tp347h is an austenitic stainless steel. It has chromium and nickel content which give it the corrosion resistant properties. Columbium is added in the A312 Tp347h material. The alloy composition makes the material resistant to most oxidizing agents. Regardless of the high carbon content, the SA 312 Tp 347h material has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. This makes the 347h Stainless Steel Pipe be applied in applications that operate under high temperatures with high risk of oxidization. The Stainless Steel 347h Pipe material is cold drawn and therefore cannot be hardened by heat treatment. But it could be hardened by cold working. The material could also be easily welded upon. The 347H Stainless Steel Tube possesses good hardness of 201 Brinell. These tubes can be produced by either a seamless or a welding procedure and have a melting range of 1450 degrees C. The Stainless Steel 347H Seamless Pipe is manufactured with excellent tensile and yield strength, of above 515Mpa and 205Mpa respectively. These pipes are made with single sheet steel so, are very strong.
