A specification like ASTM A312 covers austenitic alloy Stainless Steel 316ti Pipe in both seamless and welded constructions. The use of these pipes include applications involving elevated temperatures and general corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance properties of grade 316 and Stainless Steel 316ti Seamless Pipe are similar. Although due to the addition of titanium in its alloy 316TI offers better weldability and exhibits excellent performance in elevated temperatures.
Recognized as WNR 1.4571, this tube and tube is equal to a low carbon SS 316L sensitization resistance and is used in various applications such as chemical processing, high temperature automation, control lines and more, with our Stainless Steel 316Ti Seamless Pipes and Tubes. Such SS 316Ti Tube are more resistant than the conservative nickel-chromium austenitic such as 304 SS Pipe for typical corrosion and crevice / pitting corrosion.
